Top 5 Medical Apps on iOS in Hungary Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top medical apps on iOS in Hungary showcased distinct performance patterns in terms of downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at their trends based on Sensor Tower data.

EgészségAblak from Állami Egészségügyi Ellátó Központ (ÁEEK) had a notable presence with weekly downloads starting strong at around 11.4K in late June and peaking at 13.4K by the end of July. However, downloads saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping to about 4.6K by the end of September. Active users for the app showed a consistent upward trend, starting from 58.8K in late June and reaching approximately 126K by the end of the quarter.

EESZT Covid Control, also from ÁEEK, experienced a sharp decline in downloads over the quarter. Initial downloads were at 6.3K in late June, peaking at 8.1K by mid-July, but then steadily fell to around 700 by the end of September.

Pregnancy and Due Date Tracker by Wachanga LTD had a relatively stable performance. Weekly revenue showed minor fluctuations, with peaks of about $257 in early August and maintaining an average of around $200 in September. Downloads remained consistent, ranging from 178 to 342 throughout the quarter. Active users for this app hovered around the 5K mark, with slight increases in mid-July and early September.

HeliHelp by Magyar Légimentő Nonprofit Kft., released in mid-August, saw an initial download peak of 1.5K but quickly tapered off to about 81 by the end of September.

Finally, ÉletMentő from Országos Mentőszolgálat had a modest performance in downloads, starting at 167 in late June and reaching its highest at 355 in early August. The downloads then fluctuated but stayed relatively low, ending the quarter at 158.
